i think this is ok. he won't fold any 9 here. T9 and 97 are just as possible as 98. A9 is more likely than K9 or T7.
also since he limped UTG.....you'll see AA here sometimes. and occasionally a K-high flush draw.
against a good player's range you'd probably lose here. but i also cant imagine a good player playing any hand this way. so assuming villain isn't good....you'll win this a good % of the time.
