weird AQ hand ($100NL 6-max)

$100NL 6-max @ Tribeca

CO open-raises to $4. he's been doing this more than i would like him to. i pop it to $14 from the BB with [As]

[Qs]. (i've started re-raising preflop a lot more...and i like it a lot.) he's the only caller. he and i have been going at it a bit and he's too loose, overaggressive with the wrong hands, and likes to attack perceived weakness. full stacks.

flop: [Ac]

[Jd][4s]
pot: $28

i wait 10 seconds and lead for $23.77. he minraises. i shove.

ok maybe this hand is an aberration. but he called my shove with KQ.

its been my experience that frequently reraising preflop causes most low/midstakes players, even competent ones, to start making serious mistakes.

i was pretty sure that the minraise didn't mean much of anything, that he wanted to bluff me out as cheaply as possible and leave himself a way out if i shoved. was pretty surprised when he called.
