i dont see why the push is better than a normal raise. this seems like a great way to let him fold AT and let him stack you with A5.

Why the hell would you push?!

You scare off all draws and weaker aces, and generally only get called by donks with draws or sets/2pr...HORRIBLE play.

Just raise to 100 and be willing to stack off.

I don't mind so much the push.

However, when he leads full pot into you after limping, I don't think he has much. If your image really is agro, then he's going to CR with A5 or 333.

I can't imagine him having a weaker A here, unless you've been making a lot of these raises from the blinds and he's lowering his calling standards. But even then I think he'd pick a different hand than, say AQ, because most people simply hate being OOP with more than a full buyin, holding AQ in a big pot.

I put him on either a medium pocket pair (as TT+ would probably raise preflop, although he may be mixing it up for deception). A suited connector is also possible.

Btw, how many limped in before the SB?

Anyhow, if he called your raise I don't think it was with a weaker A. Otherwise he's either very bad or for some reason doesn't give you the least bit of credit.

On that flop, I'd raise to $100 and call a push.

Btw, it is a common move to lead smaller with a drawing hand for pot/stack-size considerations. If he leads full pot and you raise pot, then you're commited. If he leads $25 and you make it $100 (this is probably what he expects you to do no matter what you have) then he can come over the top for $180 or so more, which gives you the chance to fold half of your range here. So if he has a draw then lead small, raise, 3-bet allin is a slightly better line for him. Obviously if he would play his draw this way he'll also play his set this way.
