I think I normally check this turn but this time I was going with my read that he did not have a set and that it was more likely he had something like AJs, AKs, or 99/TT.
Part of the reason for posting was that I wanted to know how many people thought I should have checked the turn.
I didn't like Villain's river bet but I called anyway. He had
[Kd], which, honestly, hadn't even occured to me. I never ever play KK like this - his play seemd a little silly to me - but he did get max value out of QQ. I was fully prepared to fold to a turn raise, and a flop raise would have slowed me down too. Does anyone here regularly play KK this way?
