I raise the CO with 7[s] 8[s] to a glorious $8. BB whos a 45/7/2.5 guy reraises me to $20. I call.
Like my g/f, we're fully stacked.
Flop ($40). A[h] 8[d] 4[c]. He cks, I bet $35, he calls.
Turn ($110). 5[h]. Ck/ck.
River ($100) 7[h]. He open pushes. It's about $145 to call.

One can call preflop, but I doubt that it will be easy to play if you flop a draw postflop. It is a reraised pot and a 'normal' player would fire a 2/3 pot C/B no matter what the flop is and your odds (including implied) would not be any good to continue in most cases.

If you knew he didn't have AA, I would think a call is warranted. The flush worries me little, AA is gone, and unless he reraises OOP with 66,55,44, I'm not really worried about hands that beat me. I'm calling this.

Somehow I have a feeling that you've lost this hand to some strange holding. 78 with this board (posible flush, one to a straight, A high) is a bluff catcher (pushing with AK I would consider a bluff) and I can't imagine a reasonable hand for the OP, that he would get to the river and decided to bluff.
(I mean would any sane person play KK this way? or AK?)
