He probably thinks Im an idiot and saw me play T9s like it was the nuts, but what could I limp UTG with and then make a big check raise here with?

If I reraised preflop with T9s, then surely he would think I would raise any pocket pair bigger than 8s, so I cant have an overpair here. Isnt he going to be afraid of something like 87 if I go crazy with a check raise? If I lead I have the feeling he might just try to call me down or might even fold an overpair on the turn if I lead with another big bet.

I think a big check raise to look like a bluff or draw......or maybe a CRAI on the turn if hes dumb enough to bet an overpair again.

slowplaying is okay in this hand because if he catches a pair with his overs he is likely to pay you off after the T9 hand. However, check-raising that board will probably get an overpair to stick around. He coudl put you on a 6. I check-raise because i dont like slowplaying.

The thing I dont like about leading here is that I think nowdays with so many LAGs out there, there are alot more preflop raises with nothing. When you lead into them and they have nothing, they fold when they wouldve CB'd the flop with nothing.

The last 2 weeks, Ive called quite a few raises with pocket pairs and then led out into the raiser when the flop was something like J63 (lets say I have 44) and they fold about 75% of the time. Ive also led out with a set 3 or 4 times and not once have I been raised. I think they folded 3 times and on the 4th hand they folded when I bet the turn. Now I know this is a small sample, but it just seems like with a drawy board like this, hes going to bet the flop and turn every time to stop me from drawing. He might even bet both of those streets with AK. If I lead out, he will most likely fold AK.
