In retrorespect i think he played it perfectly.

The turn bet is half pot and makes a river shove pot size which i'm likely to call did he know the strength of my hand.

On the turn which was a fcking awfull card ofcourse i wanted to keep the pot small if possible. On the river i mean the donk could have Q8 78.. TA..

only thing i can say is to raise all the time with straights, b/c they can only get worse, they can never get better...........but on this hand there is no way hes not calling any bet with a set, so i say its all up to you to believe whether he got his boat or not, tough position and f*** the turn card

Given the prior hand you posted, he seems willing to call you down on very weak draws, so you flop the nuts on a draw heavy board and slowplay? C'mon dude...

Raise the flop (btw it's not a 3bet, it's just a raise. A 3bet would be if he bets, you raise, then he re-raises again. That re-raise of your raise is a 3bet). Anyway, you have to raise this flop. Failing that, raise this turn. And you definitely can't fold the river.

Yeah i said fck me when i decided to just call the flop. I thought: "Iceman would say: "i raise this flop 10/10".

But i got greedy, the SB in this hand is really tight and i hoped he might have hit something 2 maybe just 88 and might overcall if i call or maybe reraise with his set and donk would come along in between and i would push and he would think he's pot committed.

Does everyone lead the turn.?? my thought process was. I'm calling a bet so it's better to bet myself (fold equity). I will get paid off big if i hit so build a pot. I'm representing a big hand by betting the turn so i got fold equity.
