committing to this kind of flop is fine, imo -- you've got all kinds of backdoor draws, and the double gutter is sweet. that being said, against an aggressive player, i want to put in the big raise, so i'd try for a CR and i wouldn't cry if he checked behind.
this guy very well may have been making a play on you thinking that you had a low-oriented hand due to the fact that you didn't jam pf like most AAxx hands would. if i had to guess, i'd say that he either hit his sidecards or hit TP and thinks it's good against an A23x type of hand.

I think you're often in a coin flip sitiuation here, rarely ahead, and occassionally a big dog, as such i'd consider dumping it. without the exact numbers it becomes a kind of math problem, but i can't really imagine that you're ever leaving a lot of sklansky bux on the table by folding.
