I Hit My Set in a Raised Pot--Yipppee (200NL)

Villain is directly on my left. He's 35/9/2 and he LOVES to call pfr. About 50 hands ago I raise with AKs and he calls with AKo. Flop is A high. I CB, he min raises the flop, I call. Turn I pick up the backdoor FD and CRAI with a free roll. We split. He didn't hesitate to call me.

I raise x4bb 9[h] 9[c] in MP. Villain calls, BB calls.

Flop ($25). J[d] T[d] 9[d]. Lovely. BB checks, I make a CB of $20, Villain thinks and pushes a full stack all in. BB folds.

Thoughts?

I call. I doubt he does it with a made flush. He might with a made straight though.

I think he does this with alot of hands like JT, J9, T9, and any pair with a high diamond.
[Qc], [Jc]..etc. I think youre a favorite tio his range.

Iceman points out my real question. Call/fold is really irrelevant to me. What I'm really asking is what's his hand range. Then call/fold decision is automatic.

IMO set in a raised pot = AI all day on flop.

As to the hands range, it includes enough of draws to make a call profitable.

I called and he had what I thought he had A[d] X. He hit his flush on the turn.

I'm still not sure about hand ranges when I'm the pfr. When I call with 99, its very likely the other guy has an overpair. But when I raise with 99, doesn't it make another set/draw more likley than just an overpair and is an overpair shoving there?
