$200 NL at Absolute.....Lots of guys playing 200 BB stacks, but Im sticking with 100 BBs for now unless I see a moron with money. Im playing 20 / 13, raising a bit more than normal because the table seem weak tight to me in my first 600 hands.

#1) UTG ($400) raises to $6, MP ($300) calls. I reraise to $26 in the BB with [Ac][Qd].
UTG calls.

Pot $59. Flop [Qh][Js][2h]. I bet $42 and he calls.
Pot $143. Turn [6d]. I have $132 left. Push? Or check / fold?

#2) I ($200) open to $7 in the cutoff with [Ac][4c]. BB ($228) calls.

Pot $16. Flop [As][Qs][2s]. He leads $6. I raise to $30 and he calls
Pot $76 Turn [Jc]. He checks, I bet $60 and he calls.
Pot $196. River [4d]. He checks and I push. Thoughts?

#3) Folded to the SB who completes. He just sat down. This is his 2nd hand.
I raise to $9 in the BB with [Ts][9s]. He calls.

Pot $18. Flop [Jd][Td][8s]. He checks, I bet $14. He check raises to $44. I push. Thoughts?

Hand 1. Tough spot. A read would be nice here. I think I would push against most players, since you might get another AQ to fold and would deny odds to the flush draw. If he has a set then sucks to be you.

Hand 2. I don't like this at all. You have vastly overplayed your holding on all streets. Can BB lay down AQ, AJ to this action? Will he call with QJ or AT? I think you've picked up a lot of showdown value on the river so I would check behind.

Hand 3. This one is OK because I think you have a lot of fold equity here. Still, its a bit marginal in that you are not in that great of shape against anything good villian may have here. Therefore, if he actually does have a hand that can call you are in trouble. Villain could easily make this play with only top pair though, and he should fold that.

i don't like hand 1. what hand would most players raise UTG with, call a reraise, and then call a healthy continuation bet? JJ, QQ, KK, AA, [Ah][Kh]maybe AQs since he's in position. how many of those hands do you beat? one, and even that one has 12 outs against you.

Back off, lick your wounds, and check fold this hand. there's just so few hands that you're ahead of.

hand 2: i don't like this river push. While i think you have the best hand, it also looks like you may have rivered him (unless he was calling you down with the naked [Ks], in which cas ethe whole thing is a moot point). He seems like he's got an A with a big spade, maybe the [Ks], maybe the [Ts]. Either way, unless he has AK, i don't see him calling your river push with any hand you beat.

I know you've been talking about thin river bets for a few months now, but i think this one is -EV, i just don't see enough hands that you beat calling here.

hand 3: I like this play. I'd rather have a read on the guy, but it's good for table image, it's HU in the blinds, so you've probably got folding equity, and i think in the long run it's +EV. obv. just hope he didn't flop a straight or and you're probably ok. I don't think this is as high variance as some of the draw pushes we see around here, since you're range is huge preflop to raise in position, but pretty small after his check raise to push. I think he folds probably 60-75% of the time here.

Hand 1: check/fold. You said yourself these guys are weak-tight. If your hand is somehow good here it is a fluke.

Hand 2: I don't mind this hand, and I like the river push. I think a $100 bet into a $200 pot will get called fairly often by hands you beat.

Hand 3: Fine. But prefer read.

Hand1: Check behind, there arent to many hands you have beat, he could be on a flush draw and you are taking the risk of him hitting, but there is only an 18% chance that the flush card hits, if it does and he fires its a pretty easy fold. If you see a safe river card check call a bet, or bet if he checks.

Hand 2:I really dont like your player here. Raise preflop is fine, but the whole point of the turn raise is to try to push the [Ks] out, and get information about you hand. His call should tell you he either loves his hand or he wont fold the [Ks]. The Ks doesnt call your river bet. The only possible hand that calls you and pays you off is A [Js], A [Ks], other than that you only get called by hands that have you beat.

Hand 3: Fine vs a weak tight player.

hand 1: you're quite possibly screwed. but you're also probably not gonna fold. i'd rather check/call the turn than push it. at least let him shove if he thinks you're FOS. if the turn checks around i'm betting the river.

hand 2: either you're raising the flop + turn because you're convinced he has a flush draw, or you're pushing the river because you just sucked out on AK/AT (unlikely holdings either way). raising the flop/turn AND pushing the river seems a little contradictory. "oh he must have the flush draw. now he'll pay me off even though he missed?"

hand 3: this is fine.

#1) I pushed the turn which I realize is pretty questionable. However, I was a 3-1 fav when he called with [Ah][Jh].......he rivered the flush

#2) He folded to my push

#3) He called with a set of 8s and I hit my straight.
