I have [3h] on button.

MP is a tight agressive (20/14/x) player who limps (which is unusual for him), I have about 200 hands PF on him.

I raise on button to $8, SB calls, MP calls.

Flop comes:

[9h][8c] Pot $24

SB checks, MP checks, I bet $20, SB calls, MP is all in.

It's $170 for me to call.

My first thought is now way can I call this with only 9 outs, but then I'm pretty sure he would have raised 99,88 PF. The only hand that I can see him doing this with that beats me is 98. But maybe even more likely to be a baby flush draw, str8 draw combo.

Anyone calls or easy fold ? Easy fold I guess, sad thing is that I really can't see any options to how this hand played out, I would play it exactly the same way next time it arises.

Easy fold. The best you can hope for is that he is pushing with e.g., [7h], but he could have Ax.
You also have SB left to act after you, who could be slowplaying a set or something like that.

But I agree with Stone, if you can get a free card to the nut flush, on the flop, take it. That would be my line.

I can't agree with checking this flop, your OP will fold a lot as you rep. an A, and if they call you can check behind on many turns and take a free card.

I think you played it well.
I also think that it is not an easy fold, as his range is mostly combodraws and 89. The problem here is that he could easily have [5h] for a combo to which you are well behind.
I didn't check it, but I feel that you are behind that range.
So fold it.
