I've been pretty active at the table, and perhaps have a loser image. I just doubled up through a guy who tried to bluff me off quads.

All folds, including the SB. I have 8[d] 8[h] and raise to $9 which is my standard at this table. SB insta calls. He has a full stack.

Flop ($16) 2[s] 2[d] 5[s]. He cks, I bet $14, he calls.

Turn ($44) 7[h]. He checks, I think and bet $40. He cals.

River ($124) J[s] He leads $50.

The whole table limped and you only made it $9 out of the BB? I would raise more preflop.

should have raised more PF especially with all limpers. standard play. i would call even with no reads. if you loose, you pay to see his cards.

I don't agree with betting the turn smaller. If we put him on fl.draw, we need to bet as much as he is ready to call (denying the proper odds of course), I also think that your river decision to fold is easier when you bet the turn bigger, as probability of a bluff goes down, because you showed so mush strength.

I also don't see ANY reason to bet smaller if OP is ready to call big bet when drawing.
