This is one from one of the private tournaments that I like to play on UB. I have played a lot with most of these folks and I have a reputation of being tight. As a result I tend to get way too much respect when I'm in the pot and my good hands don't get paid off like I wish they would. This hand I tried one of Iceman's little tricks and played it backwards. I think you will like the results.

i would probably bet out and hope he has an overpair. someone that reraise preflop often has a strong ace or a big pp so by leading out, you probably lose the cb from a big ace but you stack a big pp as he can't put you on an 8 since you raised preflop and then led out? who raises with an 8 and leads with trips? you should be trapping right? so that's why playing straightforward throws people off.

you make like a 2/3 bet on flop (1000), he raises to about 3k and then you can determine the best way to go but you get to break him this way.
