I was referring to the fact that the idea to checkraise by your opponent could backfire if you bet and the other guy calls since it would be harder for him to get both of you to lay down your hands with a big pot, but I guess it doesn't really matter since he would be getting better odds then to make up for the lack of folding equity.

Anyway, as far as the hand goes from your standpoint, I would have strongly considered making the call. You are getting about 2.4-1 on your call. The only hand that beats you is JJ. It is HIGHLY unlikely that he's got AA since he not only didn't reraise preflop but elected not to protect his hand on the flop. With Jacks most players would be more inclined to bet out and hope to get raised I would think, and although I would expect to be shown JJ a fair amount of times here, the hyper-aggressive checkraise move here makes me lean towards A[h]K[h] or A[h][Qh]. There is also the slight chance that he's got QQ and even smaller chance that he has AJ. It is definately debatable but more often than not I'd call.

Did you have a read on him? Was he generally playing like a LAG? Did you have an image as being extremely tight? If so then I think it would make the call a bit easier.

Thats exactly why I thought I was beat. He saw me make a healthy reraise preflop and make a pretty strong flop bet but he still check raised all in. He had to think I was going to call which made me think he had JJ. Not too many people even at these stakes are folding KK there.

It never crossed my mind for some reason. Obviously it should have.
I was playing with a friend here and said to him..."AA and JJ beat me. I can only beat QQ". He said "66 and 44 beat you also". I said "no way hes got either of those". Neither of us mentioned AK of hearts. I have no idea why. Tunnel vision I guess
