Because he probably puts you on something like 5-5 to J-J, you also could have K-Q or K-J - if he bets, why would you call with a PP between 5-5 and J-J that you floated and didn't make a set with, you wouldn't call a value bet on the river. There is no hand he can hope to get more value from if all he has is just a King. He's just exposing himself like a moron because you could easily have 5-5 or 2-2 (though judging from what I've read of your style of play, you'd probably play a set on a board with a flush-draw and a king much faster).
