Bodog 6-max $100 NL. Literally the first round, no read on Villain at all. For the purposes of the hand let's assume he's a typical Bodog 6-max donk.

I get 55 in MP and limp. 3 to the flop.

Pot $3. Flop is J65 rainbow.

BB bets $3, I raise to $9, BB is only caller.

Pot $21. Turn is a 4 completing the rainbow.

Check, I bet $19, call.

Pot $59. River is a 7. BB thinks maybe 2 seconds and bets $59.

Instacall, right? I mean, what 8 or 3 can he possibly have?

But at the same time, does a typical donk have the cojones to bet pot in this situation without the straight?

Limpers: I RAISE!!! Build the pot baby! And no one will put you on a set if you hit. You also gain the EV from successful CBs, or unsuccessful ones that turn a set and you stack em.
