I have been finding that many TAGs are very aggressive preflop. They will reraise with a wide range of hands, sometimes as a outright steal play if i'm raising from the LP. So the 3rd raise can't always be AA or KK or you will be giving away too much. I sometimes trap with big pairs but lets face it, high pairs do not come around very often. In any case I would prefer to be aggressive and put in a 3rd raise with marginal hands.
Best hands to do this with? AK, SC, Axs? Of course this move would be used sparingly and only against good players.
If I put in the third raise it will almost be 1/3 of my 100BB stack. Pushing on the flop would be flop dependent.
Is this chip spewing?
