getting it all-in at the micros (25nlhe 6max)

lost both of these hands, and i'm not really bothered by it, but i just want to make sure that my thinking is on the right track. these are hands from my first nlhe session is ages, and i'm trying to regain some "feel" for the game.


i flop an oesd and a pair from the BB. my instinct was to push (and i did), but i wonder if i could have found a a fold at any point. this was early in the session, but one thing i found out was that these mizors aren't raising on the flop without big made hands.

twodimes shows this as an equity error, and i'm fairly certain that i had little or no fold equity after the min-raise (although perhaps i should have).

my plan here was to donk bet the turn since i figured this flop probably didn't hit a UTG limper very hard. well, i actually hit my gin card (or so i thought), and then this...

after the overbet raise, i figured same straight or a set... i was a bit shocked to see the nuts.

no real reads on villain, but i can't figure out whether this was just me getting coolered or whether i should have found a fold. i can't imagine folding is right, but i'm open to ideas.

comments? thoughts?

I recommend making very few moves when OOP. The only move I usually will make is a flop Check-raise. Also I prefer to make moves on less coordinated flops because it is easier to put villian on a hand and there is less hands that can withstand heat. Example all they can stand heat with is Kx, 77, 33

BTW, is there a reason you are playing half stacks at this level? Fill up IMO before each hand.
