NL100 5max AKs versus TAG (line check)

Have I become weak tight?
Reads from villain fairly weak TAG (only ~50 hands 26/7.7/3)

http://www.pokerhand.org/?840155

See my logic below. Am I way off here?

When this villain pays my 3-bet PF I´m thinking hand range off AK or >22. But to be honest I was thinking AA or KK.

Flop
I dont see any reason to bet here, if I get called I have to be beat or in best case even???
Also checking might induce bluff. Whatever happens I´m going broke here if that is the case.
Turn
I got to bet here right? 1/2 pot bet might get called by QQ example?

River
I decided to check here because If he puts me allin I got to be beat and I´m not folding here ever. Check will also induce bulff (maybe even over the top). Is my river decision awfull? what to do here?

Villain had AQ but it is not relevant, my read was that this type of villain doesn´t have AQ here too often.

your line is fine (except for the river. gotta bet the river). betting the flop is also fine. the arguments for checking the flop:

you think villain can fold AQ to a flop bet (probably not)
you think villain might pay off on the turn or river with QQ/JJ/TT if you check the flop (probably)

the argument for betting the flop is that as long as you go with 2/3 pot or so on each street...you may get 3 streets of value from AQ.

so it really depends how often if ever you think he folds AQ/AJ preflop here. the more often he folds those hands preflop, the more often you should check this flop.

p.s. if you're seriously worried about being behind here then yes you are getting weak tight.

Let's see...you don't bet the flop, you bet small on the turn, and check-call a weak river bet?

Weak-tight city.

Preflop you need to raise more. Against a standard $3 open, I would probably make it $11 or so. In this case you also have a cold caller so bumping it up to $15 or so is probably best. For one, it gives them incorrect odds to callwith PPs in hopes of stacking you whereas if you make it only $6 more, you're giving them pretty good odds.

I'm not a big fan of checking this flop - checking after a re-raise on an AK flop is likely to get your less action, rather than more. Think of it this way, what would you do if you had 67s? You would bet, so I would bet now. If your opponent has a hand like 88, he's unlikely to put any more money in the pot regardless of if you check or bet the flop. If he has a hand like Ax, he's calling your flop bet no matter what. If someone calls a PF re-raise with Ax and then flops an ace, they're not folding to a single bet.

On the turn if you bet the flop, now I like a check. There are virtually zero drawing hands your opponent has and you most likely have him drawing dead. Also, on the off chance he called your flop bet with air, you now give him the opportunity to bluff.

As played however, I would bet the turn for about $18 and call a raise/push - if he just calls i would pot the river again and call a raise/push.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

"#3 pencils and quadrille pads."

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."
