ok i never expected to have this much discussion on this hand. so thanks for all the replies.
i actually ended up folding. because these 2 players have been decent/competent for the time that i've been at the table with them. i was much more worried about the preflop raiser than about the shove-happy BB.
BB shows KQ.
Button shows AK.
i miss out on a rather large pot. so much for "competence."
it's ok though. i've been destroying the FT $100NL and $200NL so far.
