You're clearly behind...fold...smells like AJ, JJ, or 22 (if that guy raises all pairs from all positions - more rare than you might think). I REALLY don't mind a flop check, actually: you're heads up and WA/WB, so betting here doesn't do much for you.

Don't re-raise with ATo, fold preflop.

Don't call a check/raise with Top pair and 3:d kicker, you're repping a stronger hand than you have and he's still saying he has you beaten.

I don't mind betting the flop, you don't want to give free cards to hands like KQ or x and you can pretty easily fold if you find out you're behind.
