At the risk of sounding arrogant, I'll say this one last thing.
I very very rarely fold a set on the flop like this. As far as I know, Ive never been wrong. Of course I havent seen every showdown, but Ive seen almost all of them, because usually the pot isnt heads up and the action is heavy enough that the other guys are getting all in and I saw the showdown. The even rarer times Ive folded a set heads up, Ive coaxed the other guy into showing and I was correct.
I dont think this is an auto fold by any means, but obviously I thought it was a fold when i responded and I still do. Call it instinct or whatever. I cant always explain why i do what i do which is why I would never claim to be a good poker teacher.
I still cant for the life of me figure out why everyone thought ua1176s bottom set was a fold but everyone thinks this is an easy call.
