Can someone look at that and tell me if that is a bad play preflop or not?

The guy is short stacked, and there is 4.75 in the pot after he re-raises me preflop, I have to call 1.75 with AKs.
I thought about it and put him on 99-AA or AK. He only has 1.75 left behind, so I decide instead of calling for 1.75 I will put him all in for a total cost of 3.50 to me.
Effectively the pot is 4.75 after his re-raise... add his last 1.75 , so 6.50, and I am putting in 3.50 to win that pot (1.75 call plus 1.75 re-raise), meaning I am getting 1.85-1?
When I figure I am most likely a 55-45% underdog with my AKs.
Is my assesment correct and is this a bad play or not?
