This game is kicking my ass - help please

My thoughts:

1) I am either running really bad or I suck really bad. Playing 6 max Having a VP$IP of 28 and a W$SF of 28 as well as a WtSD of 20 and a W$SD of 46 just shouldn't happen.

2) I am overvaluing trips and two pair

3) I am not playing position well enough

Thoughts?

Edit: I didn't realize it said that 1.3K of these hands were at FR. All of these hands are 6 max.

I'm not a PT expert but 2200 hands is really nothing, I have 10buyin swings within such a sample.
Anyway, maybe you can pull up a few of those 2pair and one pair hands?

Yeah, your stats don't really look out of line to me except the losses, which, as Oj says, can easily be variance.

Goop, where are you at in terms of PLO experience? If you're kind of coming back to it after playing it for a while, I'd have different suggestions than if you've just been playing for a few months and are trying to learn the ropes (and I really can't tell because the hands you've posted seem to me quite reasonable).

Anyhow, if you're really just getting started in it, you might want to tighten up a bit, at least FR, and pull back on the raises. I think those stats are perfectly normal for good players, but more premium hands are easier to play. And unraised pots take some of the pressure off if you're more kind of finding your game.

But if you've played quite a bit in the past and are coming back to it, ignore all that... Then I'd have to see more hands. The ones you've posted look fine to me.

Well, Oj definitely knows more about 6max than I do, but I'll take a stab at your question anyway.

Actually, 25% VPIP seems quite tight for 6max, possibly too tight. But I personally view 6max as a bit more advanced than FR, because you still have a fair number of players but are dealing not only with playing your hand but also with reads.

And, from the tables I've seen, playing tight within reason (and very aggro, particularly with position) can be good if basically every pot is raised so that blinds relative to average pot are often actually costing you less than they do at a lot of FR tables.

I think what I'd suggest actually is to avoid 6max for a while and try to play tight at FR just to get a feel for hand values. I feel like it's easier to loosen up from there and go back to 6max after you have a better feel for hand values and how to play your strong draws.

On big draws, I think it really might be.

Top 2, I usually calm down a bit on the river.

But if they're playing their hand like a draw vs. my bets, I'll usually go ahead and bet the river whether I made it or not (again, with some read-dependence). I think that takes down quite a few medium-sized pots that can definitely add up.
