That hand is surely playable in LP but I think you need to raise it, and on the flop I would put in a raise as well, both for value, to take control and to promote your outs. You may fold out a slightly better flush draw, and you really don't mind getting it in against a set.

This was more or less your dream flop, you have a sick draw, now pound it. Otherwise, pound the turn. If you don't want to get in your stack with this hand there's no reason to play it to begin with.

In EP this hand is not playable against strong opposition or with decent sized stacks because you will find yourself too often in spots where you are out of position and where your opponent can make you fold the best hand or make you pay off a better flush.

I'm still not exactly sure about the overall concept of draws in PLO. Always jam them, or try to make them cheaply. I'm also horribly weak tight as it stands right now, I limp into a fair number of pots and only raise what I feel are pretty strong hands...... Which would probably be considered good playable hands in a FR game. But even then I probably limp more than raise since I'm still feeling out the post flop aspect of the game.

Coming from a mostly SH LHE ring background I'm used to working off of fairly solid to great starting hands along with position. The fact that a "great" starting hand in PLO seems to be more a matter of opinion as opposed to hard facts or EV. So I'm feeling more like a kid getting his first piece of ass when it comes to post flop play..... I'm feeling around, groping akwardly, trying to figure out what the hell I'm actually supposed to be doing in diffent situations and positions
