Pony, when it got heads up, you didn't choke as I was getting some tremendous cards. However, there were a couple stud h/l hands that you were pushing and i was calling with a draw that you gave up on the river and I had nothing so I had to bet to win. I was surprised that you folded to my 500 bet into a 3000+ pot. I guess my AK high was good. Can't do this thursday's Horse because going to see Star Wars with friends. Keep posting about it to remind all these guys about it.

Good win, Bri...I saw the first few minutes of the heads-up, but then I was called away from the computer on a bit of an emergency. In case anyone's wondering, yes; the stated emergency did involve alcohol consumption.

We hardly seemed to tangle at all, except in the Stud hi round, where you unfortunately owned me. Or is it "pwned?" Nihans, anyway! Of course, the most embarassing was the hand you started with a 3-flush, jack showing, and caught a 4th heart on 4th street...meanwhile, I was making some ill-advised attempt to represent a king...or queen, whatever the fuck I had showing, and finally backed down on 7th, where one last bet would've presumably won the pot for me. Very sad.

yeah, i would have probably folded but part of me knowing how full of shit you are sometimes, the pair of 4's I caught on the river might have gotten me to call.

That's what i was talking about bri. The H/L stud hands I pushed way too much. It's one of my better games and I just tried to run you over. Sometimes I do that. The time I folded on the river . . . Let's not talk about that. All of my instincts told me to call but I talked myself into folding. By that time I was looking to survive and not at the pot odds. Right after that I convinced myself it was a bad laydown and the downward spiral began. Oh well . . . I'll win the next one.

yeah, for stud h/l is probably my worst game so at times, I was trying to take my time so we wouldn't play it so much and get to Holdem which I am much better at except for that hand I pumped my 22 vs your QQ. I was half right, i knew that flop didn't hit you.
