I bought PokerTracker last month and I'm becoming more and more fascinated by it. I'm not sure whether this should go in the PT forum (because it involves PT) or here (because it sort of involves NL hand analysis) so if it's in the wrong spot I apologise.
Anyway, after reading the excellent guides on this site I have been using PT a lot trying to improve my game and I feel the results have been very positive. I've identified several leaks (AK/AQ for example, which seems common) and have also found a new motivation for playing hands well... to make the stats look good.
Now since I am a relative newbie to this still I'd appreciate if someone could just check my relevant numbers and point out any obvious or not-so-obvious things I should adjust, fix immediatly or just look at. This is just the stats for May (I've changed a lot of things since April so this seems more relevant):
--------
Vp$ip: 22.89 (This has gone down slightly)
Vp$ip from SB: 41.88 (I am thinking this could be a bit high)
Folded SB to steal: 100 (this seems a big high..)
Folded BB to steal: 65 (I really don't bother defending blinds in cashgames, maybe I should)
Won$WSF: 38.36 (this has gone up slightly)
BB/100 Hands: 16.07 (On it's way up )
Went to SD: 31.25 (this dropped a bit)
Won $ at SD: 58.46 (This has gone up but needs work, yes?)
PF Raise: 5.65 (This has gone down a lot, used to be 7+, too passive?)
Aggression (can't get preflop aggression for some reason):
Flop: 2.74
Turn: 2.30
River: 1.56
Total: 2.33 (this has gone up a bit in general, not a lot but a bit)
Positions:
I make money from all positions except SB and UTG+1. Probably should be as tight utg+1 as I am UTG. I actually make money from BB...
--------
My main priority right is to get the Won $ at SD up above 60 by learning to not pay off people as much as I do (duh!). At the moment I am rated as "Ultra-Aggressor", used to be sLA. I don't feel like an UA... I feel more like "semi tight pretty aggressive" but there doesn't seem to be such a category. I'm not sure that I like how I raise less preflop now (I've taken to limping AQ/AJs and 99-JJ more often, guess that is a big part of it). Anyway, what should I be doing here? Any suggestions other than "Tie your stats around your ankles and jump off a bridge" are appriciated
Most hands are played at 0.1/0.2 No-Limit or Pot-Limit, some from 0.25/0.50
