SH $100 - AA semi-deep

My image is probably pretty aggressive. I've picked up a lot of small/medium pots with bets and raises. My stack is at ~$180 and villain has me covered. He seems aggro but not retarded.

I get [Ah] in the BB. Folded to villain in SB who raises to $4. I've three bet a few times before already (with 66, AJs and once or twice with junk). I make it $14, he calls.

Flop is [Qc][Kc]

Villain checks... I check.

Turn is the

Villain bets $9 into $28.

I call.

River is the

Villain bets $42 into the $46 pot.

I tank.

And call.

Why did you check the flop? Why so passive?

I can't imagine reraising preflop with AA and then checking behind on a scary board like that.

The board didn't get any scarier as the hand went along, which is danged lucky for you. I think the river is an easy call, as you have massively under-represented your hand.

If I checked that flop I'd be betting/raising a blank turn. As played you've underrepped your hand so much that I think the river's an autocall.

Yeah I was really ambivalent about my turn call. I'm still debating whether to call or raise. Would be interesting to get some more in depth views on that.

River I think I *have* to call the way I played it. My hand is very under represented.

As for in 'depth views', similar hands were discussed before. I expressed my views when I advocated checking behind on the draw-heavy flop with a hand which is unlikely to ilmprove. (You can find it in my journal.)
