UTG is at 14/8 over 200 hands and has a $60 stack. These hands are from a previous session, so he hasn't just nitted the money away in front of me.
1. UTG limps, folds to me in BB and I check [6c].
2. Flop [5h][3s], pot $2.5. I check, he bets $2, I call.
3. Turn comes , pot $6.5. I check, he bets $4, I CR to $12, he 3-bets me to $24, I call.
4. River comes , pot $53, I check he pushes for about $45 more and I fold.
I really don't like any line in that hand but I don't really like any other lines either. I guess I should have either folded or shoved to his 3-bet on the turn.
Hand #2.
No reads, UTG has $70.
1. UTG limps, I raise to $5 with [Th] on the CO, only UTG calls.
2. Flop [3c][2c], pot $11 he checks I bet $9 and he calls.
3. Turn , pot $30 he leads $14 and I call.
4. River , he open pushes for $40 more into a $60 pot, I curse and fold.
Note the A is not a club, the straight draw got there as well as the flush, and he limped UTG. Not saying folding was right, just saying A LOT got there.
