I do see some people coming into 6 max tables for the minimum fairly often.... I'm not sure if they are tryong his strategy or they are NL short stackers and attempting it for PLO. Most of them seem to suck though as they're usually busting out whenever they get in, so maybe it's not really his strategy their trying.

I haven't read his book, I was considernig getting it. That's the only problem with good books, everyone else reads them as well. When I first started playing LHE "Small Stakes Hold Em" and "Hold Em for Advanced Players" were like the bible of LHE especially at the lower stakes games. However as Hold Em's pupularity grew eveyone else read them too. Now if you sit in a FR LHE game online at most sites (at least the lower tables) you'll be lucky to find a table with a VPIP over 25%. If you manage to find a loose table, chances are there's a waiting list several deep, which will probably be a rock garden by the time you get in.

I really hope the PLO games don't dry up in the future.

Like many, I have been most intrigued by your shortstack strategy. I am applying it to other games as well, mostly full ring 2/4 no limit holdem. Do you have any plans to explain/further define the short stack strategy for other big bet games? (PLZ say no).

Wow. I've never ever ever ever run this bad or lost this much. Down $1k by buying in for $80, getting it as a favorite, and getting sucked out on in every concievable and inconcievable way. Haven't titlted, just stuck to it, but seriously, this is absolutely S-I-C-K.

Perfect conditions, two 5-max tables with a maniac on both. You would not BELIUEVE what these guys are calling me with (J762r and suck) and neither would believe how much they are beating me. Maniac is now up to $800 on one table and $2400 on the other. Most of it from me I guess.
