what stakes are these videos?

1. i agree with doncologne that this reraise deep probably is NOT transparent since he probably does it with a wide range. he can do it with a wide range precisely because he is deep (works for short, too, but for different reasons).

2. i imagine that most of the games sb plays in are aggressive. this means that, more often than not, flops are seen hu or 3-handed, and it also means that people will push marginal hands (i.e., oodles of implied odds). i can't imagine that he'd play this way in a typical low-stakes game.

that being said, i think the blind raises are not always as bad as they seem (esp. if the flops are seen hu or 3-handed) since you get first in vigorish -- that is, you get the first bet on the flop and/or turn, and this may be enough to take down the pot.
