Blah! His raise was suspicious, but with the amount of dead money I couldn't resist... the villain also is noted as a bad player (he raised 8x BB with AJs after an early position limper for instance). Can you fault me for this shove? Unlucky? Should I have just called pre-flop?

Blah! Half-stackers usually suck balls, so I figure he'll call with QT or whatever. With the raise and call by two medium-stackers, if I re-raised to say $10, we would all be pot-committed on the flop, so I figure all-in is best here. I'm still ahead of the majority of his range and shoving > raising/calling I assume. Bad? Unlucky?

1: Better read plz...is he agro or not postflop? If he's agro, just call and get it in on any low flop.

2: Just raise to 9 to price lower hands in...then shove any and all flops.

I don't have the convenience of PAHUD on CakePoker, I don't have many hands on the guy, and the only hand I've seen him involved in was the AJs one. I don't have a good read on his post-flop aggro.

Aggro or not, in hand #1 do you think I am still ahead of his range? If not, is it worth calling his re-raise? The pot would be about $28, and I'd have about $40 left, he covers. On most flops, like the one here, it will be low cards. All-in and reload if I lose? If I'm only playing QQ for set value now, I am not getting the right odds. Which makes me think... the amount of times this size of re-raise after all those callers is KK/AA might even make my QQ a fold, lacking a read.

Hand #2: Say I raise to $9 and UTG goes all-in. I'll be getting near 3:1 odds but not be happy about calling the all-in. Fold then?

Another thing... with SNGs (my usual game) I get all-in with QQ pre-flop like 100% of the time in these situations. Obv cash games are different and I have to make the proper adjustments.

Full ring, $50 NL, QQ is a very dangerous hand if you raise and get reraised. (Exception, obviously, if your raise might look like a steal raise from LP.)

If you raise UTG or even in MP at a 9-handed table, people tend to respect that. Some folks will reraise with AK, but very very few will reraise with JJ, and most of the time after they reraise they will flip over KK/AA.

In Hand #1, you raised PF and got 3 callers, and then this guy wanted to reraise big from OOP. At this table, I don't think he is going to have anything other than AA/KK there most of the time.

For a full stack, at $50 NL, 10-handed, if I was the initial raiser from EP or MP and get reraised, then I'm normally willing to play for a full stack PF with KK, but very rarely with QQ.
