AA deep against strong player ($100NL 6 max)

Haven't played much against opponent, but I know he's a solid winner, CR member, 2+2, etc. We're both about 300bb deep and we haven't really tangled much past the flop.
He has reraised my LP raises quite a bit (he does this with any PP) and I've also reraised him a few times in similar spots. Only significant pot one orbit ago was when he reraised me from the BB, I called with JTs in the CO and flopped top pair. I called a CBet, blank turn got checked through, river was a T (board J872T), he bet 1/2 pot, I called and won against his AJ.

No I get AA in the CO, open raise, he repots in the blind, I make it $42. Villain quickly calls. Flop: 89J two spades (I don't have As). He quickly leads for the pot. Plan for the hand?

Is it possible to make the preflop raise up in the 80 dollar range without scaring him off? Then the decisions on the flop would be easier. This all depends on what level you both think your thinking at.

I like a raise here, if he's playing something like AJ/AT he's drawing almost dead, and any draw here you want to make him pay for

Dunno playing vs a good player 300BB deep I'd be so scared of losing my stack to a set that that I would have pushed pre-flop and hoped to hell he has KK - but then I hardly ever get to 300BB deep.. (also I have a tendency to push AK when repopped by a CR donk when shorter than 120BB so his notes might well put me on AK)

I don't see any reason to tangle with the one other good player at the table - take the 20BB on offer now or the 600BB pot the 80%x the % of the time he does have KK and calls..
