I called the turn...then check called a small value bet on a blank riv. he showed J8s.

I was very close to folding the turn but decided against it. For some reason i put him on AK with the A of hearts. Then i obv had to call the riv.

I think roy is right in folding the flop if raised. I mean wouldnt this player call with KK-QQ..maybe some medium pp's....and reevaluate the turn? i dunno. i was really pissed off at myself for not letting the hand go after showdown.

We probably have the best hand like 35% of the time. When we're behind, we have 6 outs usually and we also can probably push him off his hand if he doesn't have a jack.
