Shove on turn fine? Just to drive out any draws? Or is it basically asking anyone with a set or anything to call? He certainly did not play it like that.

Eh, I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but just slowplay this monster, call flop, call turn, raise river? In the case of me having to lead, check flop, bet small amount on turn, bet larger amount on river?

I don't get the twice pot sized bet in hand 1. I think the raise on the flop is fine, but I don't see any reason to overbet the turn.

I like a standard close to pot bet on the turn in hand 1.

Fastplaying hand two is fine, if it was a two flush I'd be much more inclined to play it slow.
