FTP $10 NL - AKs vs a 70/30 maniac

Hello all. This is my first post, but I've been reading this forum ever since Iceman left UPF to create his own site. For the last four years, I've been playing limit poker in the B&M exclusively. However, the games are getting tougher, so I've decided to deposit $200 at FTP and start from the bottom of the barrel.

Maniac is one to my left, so I've been looking to limp re-raise him with a good hand. He's in the cutoff this hand. I shrugged of UTG+1's min-raise as a donk move, however I didn't expect him to call the CO's raise....

So the pot is what, about $3 PF? ANd be almost $4 if we call. Any reads on UTG?

Against a mainiac chances are we have the best hand here and with the passiveness of the other players chances are they're not holding much either.

I don't really like calling. So we need to re raise or shove. Re raising especially if we pot will put a decent chunk of our stack in. and have the pot big enought that we'll have not much more than a PSB on the flop. Since we're sandwiched between some callers and a maniac I wouldn't mind a shove here. BB will probably come along for the ride, and we might get UTG to fold. Which will basically give us what we're looking for, to go to battle with a maniac when we have a big hand.

BTW you're in a FR game with 8 players if you have an opportunity to switch seats and get on his left I'd do it ASAP.
