I check turn, he bets $26, I shove


Besides the obvious straights/flushes, sets, strong 2 pair, I really don't know what he should be betting the turn with. Secondly cakers love to call in pos and mash the bet pot or 1/2 pot on the turn when checked too, so keep that in mind.

Felt like a spew but I think I'm too strong to c/f here.

yea i dont like it. I would go ahead and assume a semi short stack on Cake plays pretty straightforward and wouldnt float here...wait for a better spot.

My question here is are you making this raise as a bluff or to protect/value? Do you really think he is folding 2 pair/set here? Like the rest here I dont like your play. The way you played your hand screams overpair. Since your hand is not disguised at all, it makes it really easy for him to call with 2 pair kind of hand. In his spot I would be thinking well my 2 pair is good worst case you have some outs with A.
