# of tables and winrates plus time of play

I just wanted to see what different BTPers do when they play?

1. How many tables at once?
2. BB/100? How much does the flucuate with the # of tables.
3. Average session time?

So I stopped playing more than two tables at a time until I can sustain a winrate for a while. It seems like I am actually playing some poker now ie double barrelling more correctly, playing position better, defending my blinds a bit better. I used to always play 8 tables at once, and I would try to put in much longer sessions. I don't think that the Phil Ivey thing works very well for me. It seems the more hands I play when I am playing well the more inevitable that I will find a way to lose it back. It seems like an 1 session is about right for me.

It would be cool to see what you all do.

2. 7 (before I started my bad run, see my journal). It goes down with more tables...and the variance goes up with more too.
3. 2-3hrs, 1000-1500 hands.

You cant really say the win rate is 7 "before the bad run" can you? What would it be if you took out an extended "good run"?

I think the win rate is what it is. Its whatever it is before and after all runs providing its a pretty big sample size which Im sure you have.

2. BB/100 or PTBB/100? PTBB/100 is 4.34 this year. It doesn't fluctuate.
3. Bout an hour and a half.

answers for me at the moment
1. 6-9 tables
2. 2.1 (but this is short-stacked and at higher stakes than I would otherwise play). It can fluctuate in 10k stretches by up to 3PTBB/100 from expected, but the EV adjusted winrate stays pretty much rock solid. Over 40k hands the winrate is more or less spot on anyway. Number of tables doesn't affect win-rate though time of day and surroundings do.
3. Anything from 15 mins to 2+ hours - about an hour is most common.
