Villain is 18.24 / 12.35 / 3.83 over 170 hands. The hand just before this I fired off 3 bullets with a strong hand and showed down a winner. I decided to check this flop since it was so dry. What do I do against the CR on the turn? River?

I'm calling, and expect to win 60% or so. He thinks you missed because you checked the flop. You'll even get that line from missed flush draws. I do like checking hit flops once in a while for this reason, it's very effective against 1 player. Do NOT do it against multiple villains that see the flop.

Remember, villain may be on semi-tilt looking to bust the hero, so you'll often see KQ, KJ, 99-QQ, and busted draws. I actually think you are 70-75% here.

When I check the flop I expect (and hope) my opponent to play back at me on the turn. That's the whole point of checking a flop like this, in my opinion. So... since I decided to play it that way, I decided I could either pop him back or flat call the and let him bluff again on the river. There is really no scare card that can come unless it's a , in which case runner runner flush is unlikely. Thoughts on this?
