HU hand 1/2 NL

Im playing a guy who bought in at 2 different tables for something like $43.86 and $58.20. Im only on 1 table because someone sat at the other one before I could.

Hes playing 58 / 25 after 35 hands.

He raises $6. I reraise to $20 with [Qh]. He starts the hand with $107 and calls.

Pot $40. Flop [7d][4d]. Obv this sucks. i check to see what hoe does and he bets $50. What do you do?

Get it in at some point? He only has $47 left if I call. Its push or fold isnt it?

A push folds any donk bluffs, the overbet suggests such a bluff may be in play here.

Basically I'm ok with doing anything other than folding.

If he has a flush draw or 88-TT I don't think it matters if you put him in on the flop or smooth call and do it later, either he is going to get lucky or he isn't but all his chips will be in the middle before the showdown.

If he has total air, I think raising gives him a chance to fold, calling gives him a chance to bluff again on the turn.

I seriously doubt that anyone who played JJ that way heads up would fold at that point.

If I bet the flop and he raises I pretty much have to fold. My plan was actually to check / fold if he bet, but once he over bet the pot, I didnt believe for a second that he had an ace.

I check raised all in and he called with [3d] and missed. I really thought he had a middle pair though based on the obvious attempt to get me to laydown to the flopped ace.

If he bet $30 I wouldve folded. If he hit the bet pot button I most likely wouldve folded. $50 is just too obvious that he doesnt have an ace and knows that I dont either since I checked.
