Analysis:

If he was full I would have made a regular size C/R. I figured if he checks thru I will get a freebie which is ok and if he bets I will put him to a decision for his stack. He may also take a stab since I checked which he would fold if I lead out (agressive). Thoughts?

I like it if you incorporate other made hands into your range here against regs (like AA for example)

Its good in this spot as it allows you to get it in when you have both good equity and fold equity. If you bet and he just calls and you miss the turn, your hand declines in value tremendously. Just keep in mind when you use the flop C/R is it looks bluffy.

Since these types of bets get no respect usually, I am trying to work more of this into my game. Not many good spots come up, plus I tend to CB before thinking about a C/R.

i prefer to lead into them, but i'm trying to get quite a bit in on the flop.

The key would be to do this against aggro villains. The flop C/R form the PFR is so rare that villains will bet if they flopped the flush draw, so you will almost never give a free card.

Really though it wouldn't be something to do all the time. WHat I am going to start doing is setting up villains for this play. I will raise and if the flop is really bad for a CB, I will check-fold. Once you do this a time or two, they will auto-fire if you check. Then you break out the C/R (bluff or not).
