Hi, I am a new member and this is my first post, so I may be jumping the gun here as this has probably been addressed before.
In reviewing my hands I noticed a *red flag* discrepancy in my PT stats that showed my $ Net to be + $12. However I knew that since I started tracking my play I've lost about $30. I immediately started scratching my head and messing around with hand histories in order to fix this problem, and this is what I've found out:
If you leave the table before the hand is raked, the hand history is saved incomplete and doesn't contain the betting info on the river. To put in in lay man's terms - Don't get mad and leave the table when you lose on the river! This will cause inaccurate stats in PT and render the tool somewhat useless.
EDIT: Just saw the sticky about the Old Version of PT that recorded all-ins incorrectly. I must have one of these.
Just thought I'd warn everyone as this has bugged the sh*t out of me all day.
BTW, I purged all of my sessions (I only had about 600 hands or 10 hours) and will build up a clean database from here on out.
On a side note, does anyone have other important warnings for PT (and online poker in general) to heed and be aware of? Any help is much appreciated.
