$50 NL Pocket Aces v Solid type player

Played about 80 hands at this table, villian is what I would describe as a solid intelligent player; deffinately not the usual donk at this level. Having said that he has lost about €60 since I came to the table ( he had €130 at one stage). The only time we really clashed he called a min re-raise on the river when I had two pair A's & Q's.

I reckon my image is T/A and he's already seen me take a medium stack off someone else with pocket Aces when the betting was quite similar to this hand, and the donk hit a Q on the flop holding [KQ].

I think he only calls my pre flop bet with [KK], [QQ] and maybe [AK] [AQ]. I think he probably puts me on [AA] or [KK].....

I really hate this King on the flop, I feel he will only call a bet if it has helped him, but surely I can't check behind?
a) Is shoving bad here - $50 into a $28.25 pot?
b) Is a 3/4 pot sized bet the thing to do?
c) And if he calls it where do I stand?
