Hometown house-game with a bunch of solid players (the guys who have survivied the ravages of moving up from $20 buy-ins to $300 buy-ins). We're like an hour into the game and it's been pretty tight (we're 7-handed), I won a decent pot in the beginning when I rivered a flush when someone bet the flop & turn weak and I had turned the open-ended straight flush-draw.
So I'm sitting at about $360 when the following hand comes up;
I limp A[h]-9[h] in 2nd position, CO calls, folds to the SB who completes, BB checks.
Flop is J[h]10[h]2[c].
SB leads pot for $12, BB folds, I decide to just call (my reasoning was since he's a LAG and he's playing out of position he could be on anything though he is most likely on a draw or a weak jack, I also wanted to see what the CO would do so) - CO folds.
Turn is the A[s] so the board is now J[h]10[h]2[c]A[s]
He pauses for about 15-20 seconds before betting $35.
My thought-process at this point was that I could easily be ahead, he didn't raise pre-flop and he is a LAG so he is gonna be raising A-K/A-Q all the time out of the SB and since I just called on the flop he probably puts me on a hand like J-x/K-Q/flush-draw & straight-draw since my image is TAG. At this point I felt like if I raised I would push out hands I want to stay in (flush-draws, J-x) and would force hands I don't want to be up against to shove (K-Q, A-10, A-J). So I ended up just calling - thoughts?
River came a meaningless low card, he paused and then led $60. Now at this point it felt like he was either triple-barreling with a missed draw or he wass milking me with K-Q because if he had J-10, A-10, A-J, 2-2, 10-2, J-2 wouldn't he want to check-call the river with the Ace being such a bad turn-card since I could easily have K-Q/A-J/A-10? I felt as though with the call I made before and based on him being a LAG more then capable of triple-barreling I kind of had to call - so I did.
Did I play this hand too weak-passive against a LAG who likes to lead OOP?
