This guy seems pretty solid from his stats and the way he plays but I have never actually seen him show down any hands nor do I have any real reads on him. I know he's a multi-tabler (because I searched him up). He must know I'm a winning player as I am playing on two of his tables with big'ish stacks and I'm playing very tight aggressive this session (19/15/4.5) because it's maniac-hour.

Check behind on the turn for pot control and call a reasonable river bet and curse as he shows a 65 or 78.

Id rather check the turn and not escalte this pot as I am gonna be in a tough situation either way. Now because we bet the turn are atcks are at risk. Just check turn and re-evaluate on river. Either way I want to protect my stack and I can pick about a million better spots than this to try to get my stack in.

Giving a free card that costs a small pot is no biggy. I am not forced to do anything on the river. I can fold a winner in a small pot, Its a big pot that pisses me off.

He can't have 53s here too...this hand seems to make more sense than the others...also maybe something with a 4 in it. I think I would have 3-bet the flop and got it in on the turn in a 3-handed game. This is also a blind battle...I think villain can show up here with air a decent amount of the time.

I tanked down to the last second before calling. I just had a gut feeling he was making a play on me and it turned out he was. He had [7d]. I made a note of this for next time we get HU.
