98s Calling Out of the Blinds (200NL)

So I'm trying to call out of the blinds a bit more and bluff a bit more. I have no feel for this so HALP.

Villain is full and running 29/22//10 over 100 hands.

Several orbits agoo he raised the button, I called and CR'd him on a 956 flop. He folded after some thought.

He raised button again and I have 9[c] 8[c] in the SB. I flat call. Likey?

Flop is 9[s] 5[d] 7[d]

I think about CRing him but feel he's probably calling this time since he had to fold last time. Like a CR here still?

I ck/call his 3/4 pot CB.

Turn J[h]. I check and he bets 3/5 pot. I CR about pot. He thinks and calls.

River 5[c]. I shove as we have about a psb left.

If you hate this line, what's your normal line here?

wouldn't check calling be better, since you likely only get called when beat and check calling may induce a bet from a weaker hand?

As a general rule, I prefer to 3b the sb, flat the BB.

Also, I hope you're calling here to CR a bunch of flops that you miss - if so, me likey.

Flop: I REALLY like a CR here. He can put you on a draw and perhaps semi-bluff reraise (to which you're shoving).

After he calls the turn CR, I think I shut down. You've polarized your range to monsters/air so he can call with AJ+

When I was in high school, my parents went out of town, and I was left in charge of the family dog, a german sheppard.

I fed it burnt hot dogs one day, and it proceded to crap in every room in the house and lets just say it wasn't easy to clean up.

The way I played this hand really reminded me of that experience! It even smelled the same.


RESULTS:

Villain folded probably out of pure confusion because I don't know what I'm repping here.

I think if I feel that he's going to all my flop CR (which is what I want to do there), then just fold pf.
