If youve hit a plateau, you might use some common sense and listen to the advice of some of the regulars here. There are some brilliant minds here, and some other avg minds (like me) that are damned good at poker anyway.

I took a great game thoery class when I got my MBA.

However, I'm not sure just surveying would do the trick. Game theory more than other subjects really require you read the book, work the problems, etc. Just listening to lectures probably isn't going to help much.

And then applying it to poker is not going to be easy.

Well let's take an easy example.

Assume a game with no blinds or antes. That's an easy game to solve.

For a more difficult example:

You're playing 5-card draw. You have 89TJ of spades and discard the 3 of diamonds.

Your opponent draws 3 to what you're reasonably certain is a pair of aces.

You have 15 outs.

The pot is X big bets and our opponent checks to us. With what cards should we bet? This can be solved through game theory.

Yeah the first one I knew only playing AA solves it.

This is prolly gonna sound dumb but...How does betting our outs + any deuce making us 5:1 to be bluffing?

Also when you're appling this to a NL game how do you go about doing this process when you can control the odds you're offering?

As you can probably tell game theory is a concept that I comprehend about as well as splicing DNA.

Any deuce makes it about 1-5 that you're bluffing
