I'm curious about both the turn and the river. Please tell me whether you like a bet or a check on the turn, and what you do on the river as played (if you bet, do you call a shove?)

What do we do on the turn against a regular? What about a donk?

This one is confusing. There are decent arguments to be made for checking or betting the turn IMO. You can rep the ace and second barrel the turn or check and give up (or see if you can get a free card like you did). I wouldn't call a turn bet by villain unless it was pretty small.

On the river, as played, I think I like a check here...I don't think you are getting called or raised without a very good hand by villain, but I think he might bet a decent amount of hands as a bluff on this board if you check the second time to him.

Curious, but were we raising to try and steal limper money+blinds PF? Is MP usually a call PF raise/fold flop player unless he hits big?

I like a bet.

Its sort of a value/protection/best option bet imo. You are getting value from FDs, pair+SDs and protecting against these as well as some gutshot and floated overs type hands.

You are getting raised by his big made hands on the flop almost always, and if somehow you didn't you will get raised now and can pretty easily fold against an unknown. Also there probably aren't a ton of aces in his range, and A/5/6/7 all make themselves obvious on the turn as well.

It simplifies the playing of the hand as you bet/fold pretty happily, if called again can hit a 7/9 and be good often, hit a diamond/4 and c/f or hit a brickish river and induce a lot of bluffs by c/cing. Conversely, c/fing turn seems pretty weak (but probably best), c/r doesn't make much sense and c/cing gives away the lead and makes the river pretty hard to play (without much of an upside imo) Also not betting the ace gives up a lot of information about your hand to a good hand reader, namely that you have a hand that doesn't like the ace/has value which turns into a bluff by betting/ wants to see a cheap showdown.

As played:

I bet 3/4 pot and fold to a raise. Its a little strange that he didn't fire the turn and looks a lot like a pair+draw hand that would like to showdown/improve cheaply if possible. I think you def get looked up by worse, will get flatted by chops and baby flushes some% of the time, and almost never bluff raised. Also I think he checks back a lot and won't bluff you enough to make c/c a better option.

As for the river.. I think I like check/calling.. I don't know if he is capable of raising the river if you bet, but I am pretty sure he is not calling with worse anymore but I think he might bet worse if checked to..

I'd bet the turn cause you'd be betting the turn w/ all kinds of XX hands you raised pf, that someone possibly is floating the flop and a great scare card comes on the turn, amirite?
