You can tell when a players needs to shut it down or when he just took some bad beats. 2 examples from last night.
Player one got sucked out on Q3 vs his AQ when the board flopped QX3 after he raised the blinds X4 UTG + 1 this is on the .25/.50 $50 max buy in. BB calls with Q3s.
BB checks UTG+1 bets $5 BB pushes all in with remaining $20. UTG+1 calls. No help BB doubles up.
UTG+1 goes on tilt and loses 3 more buy ins pushing all in with QQ vs KK pre flop. Then with a nut flush all in bet at the river to a boat. Then all in pre flop A10s vs. AK. He played all these hands poorly. He went all in with QQ UTG. The nut flush he made on the turn but slow played it. The board paired on the river and he pushes all in. A10s needs no explaination.
Player 2. I watched the table for a round before taking my seat. There was a bully over betting every hand he stayed in. He had the most chips and wasn't afraid to put someone all in. I sit down and post a blind. It is limped around to the BB bully. He doubles the blind. EP stays in and I call with K10s. The flop is Kxx rainbow. BB pushes all in. EP folds. TP bad kicker I believe he is on a steal I call. He flips over AK. Feels good about his play till I get a 10 on the river. He went from $90 to $40. Also note I might not have made that call if I hadn't been up $200 at another table.
He talks a little trash. which I don't respond to. One thing this call did for me was make everyone think I sucked. I was able to get more action when I did have a hand. He lost again later taking him down to around $20. Then he collected himself and when I left the table he was back up to $75.
Point is player 2 is just an aggressive player who is going to be up and down every session.
Player 1 let one suck out cost him almost $200.
If your aggressive your going to take some beats. If you can't stand being sucked out on then once it happens leave for a while go watch a I love Lucy rerun and then buy back in.

If I ain't sinkin', well I must be swimin' If I ain't dead, I must be livin' Livin' is the thing, that scares me the most And if I ain't sleepin', well I better be fishin' If I ain't anchored I will be driftin' But all and all, I'm doing pretty good, since I hit my third coast!
