raising a bot

A player on Party pointed out that there is a player on the tables who is a bot. And it makes sense since he never talks and seems to always be playing (briachek might know who this is). The bot is actually a winning player over 5K hands but bets marginal hands and folds if reraised when he has a draw where the odds don't add up to make a call correct. So knowing this I used it to my advantage and wanted to see what you guys think about it.

I figure if anyone had the str or a diamond draw there would've been a bet by now. It was a tossup between folding or raising here. I believe I had the best hand barring a check raise so I was rather comfortable if I was called. I ended up raising for to 1) get the draws out hopefully and 2) try and steal the pot from the bot right there. Thoughts?

My friend plays on gamesgrid. He doesn't have much of a life and he plays allll the time. He is normally fairly talkative and VERY conservative. He took some bad beats and used a lot of swears and went on tilt. He got his chat revoked and started playing like a maniac. The word on gamesgrid was that "Superman10" was now a bot. They were almost sure of it. He wasn't a bot.

UPF's Blade was also at a table and the table consensus was that he was a bot. He is not.

I doubt this guy was a bot either.

Briachek, I know you play the PLO25 at Party......have you ever seen "Sangrefrio" talk? This person seems to be playing multiple tables all the time, and I play at different times throughout the day, so I suspect it could be a bot. Not that I care, he makes weird raises all the time and then will fold to a re-raise so if it's a bot it sucks anyway.

DING DING. Scott got it right. The fact that he makes those weird ass raises, folds to reraises after making marginal bets, never talks and is always on there playing leads me to believe he is a bot.

I sincerely doubt (given the crapness of bots in limit games) that there's likely to be a bot designed for PLO. It doesn't really make sense as it'd be simpler to programme a winning bot to play limit or NLHE and shove them on there.

I have played with the person you mention and I don't think he's a bot. Don't believe much of what you see, and none of what you hear! 25PLO would be a bizarre game to play in if you happened to be a PLO bot... Also, I think a PLO bot would be a serious nut peddler and wouldn't make strange raises/re-raises. Finally, I believe Party/Empire have the most sophisticated "anti-bot" measures of any online site; that said, if you DID programme a bot, it'd most likely find 24/7 games at Party. Anyhow, I think it's just hearsay, basically.

Why not report him and see what they say about it? they're usually fairly hot on stuff like that, if he is LITERALLY on 24/7.

the thing that caught my eye about this guy is his percentages havent seen to change at all since i have been paying attention, pfr is 4.1 hasnt changed even a tenth of a percent since i have been paying attention
